We don’t want to gatekeep: Earth colors are having a moment right now. These warm hues are a throwback to the 1970’s when shades of brown were all the rage. We are seeing these colors in fashion and home interiors. The previous popular grays are out and people want warmth in their homes and on their walls.

In fashion, earth colors are a great departure from all the neon colors we were seeing last year. Earth colors are seasonless, feminine and soft. Earthy neutrals will never go out of style. Adding earth colors to your wardrobe will help you create a classic capsule wardrobe vs. collecting a bunch of trendy pieces you can only wear for one season and end up in the landfill.

So how do you style earth colors? We love picking one color as a base canvas like a clay colored maxi dress and then adding other soft and subtle earth tone or earthy textures (think rattan, straw, raffia, etc) as accessories.
